KrishnaLeela Fancy Dress Contest 2025

Rules

The Fancy Dress Competition is open to children and teens aged 3 to 16 years

Theme:

  • The theme of the competition is: KrishnaLeela (e.g., Krishna, the graceful Radha, or any of the delightful Gopis and mythological figures.) 
  • Participants are encouraged to interpret the theme creatively. 

Submission Guidelines:

  • Improper dressing and costumes not allowed; 

Submission Process:

  • All fancy dress photos must be submitted by April 12th, 2025.
  • Submissions can be uploaded as a clear photograph on https://forms.gle/pc5k41oSbnyWwRpB6

Judging Criteria:

  • Creativity and originality 
  • Relevance to the theme 
  • Overall presentation and effort 
  • Age-appropriate skills 
  • must be physically present at venue

Prizes and Recognition:

  • come in costume to the event center
  • Prizes will be awarded at the event center on April 20th, 2025. 
  • All shortlisted participants will receive a certificate of appreciation. 

Terms and Conditions:

  • By entering, participants agree that their photos may be displayed or published for promotional purposes. 
  • The decision of the judges will be final.

KrishnaLeela Art Contest 2025

Rules

The competition is open to children and teens aged 3 to 16 years

Theme:

  • The theme of the competition is: KrishnaLeela (e.g., Krishna, the graceful Radha, or any of the delightful Gopis and mythological figures.) 
  • Participants are encouraged to interpret the theme creatively. 

Submission Guidelines:

  • Artwork must be original and created by the participant. 
  • Acceptable mediums include: 

- Drawing/Sketching (pencil, charcoal, crayons) 

- Painting (watercolors, acrylic, oil paints) 

- Mixed media (collages, etc.) 

  • Artwork size should not exceed A3 dimensions (11.7 x 16.5 inches). 
  • Digital artworks are not allowed; all artwork must be hand made 
  • Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry. 

Submission Process:

  • All artwork must be submitted by April 12th, 2025.

To create awareness and infuse the beauty of Indian history, culture and the spirit of India into the hearts of all generations within United States. Safeguarding the heritage, traditions, and artistic expressions of our culture, ensuring they are passed down to future generations. Providing a platform for artists and educators to inspire, educate, and engage individuals of all backgrounds in the exploration of Indian culture's profound impact on our lives. Collaborating with local communities and organizations to create inclusive cultural events that enhance cultural awareness and promote social cohesion

What We Do

We depict Indian culture and mythology through musical dramas that showcase Indian classical dances such as Kuchipudi and Bharatnatyam . Stage performance by designing the stage, with makeup, costumes and props which enhances the visual appeal and convey character or style. Stage is enhanced with Sounds and lighting to showcase the grandeur of our culture and heritage. The performance aim is to connect with the audience emotionally and bring cultural awareness to younger and older generations through storytelling and artistic expression
